The European Committee for Professional Yachting was created in January 1993.
This unique association counts over 65 corporate members from various areas of the yachting industry.
ECPY has been defending the interests of yachting professionals for over 15 years and has contributed to the recognition, by the authorities, of the economic weight of the industry.

SOME PICTURES OF OUR SUCESSFUL OPEN HOUSE DAY HELD ON MAY 10th IN THE PORT OF NICE
SALE AND CHARTER OPEN HOUSE
ECPY has organized on May 10th its first Open House, in the Port of Nice, where more than 30 Charter and Sale yachts were been displayed for inspection by the charter and sale brokers.
This event has been organized with the support of the Port of Nice, of the CCI ( the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nice) and the Conseil Général ( General Council of Nice), which authorized the use of the commercial docks for the yachts.
ECPY will reorganize this successful experience on a regular basis, in order to offer the possibility to the professionals of Yachting to present their sales or charters CA Yachts.
PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING
In addition to the Yacht Open House, non broker professionals were invited to present their services to the yachts.
CONFERENCE MLC 2006
To conclude this day, Stefano Briganti, from Bureau Veritas, introduces in a conference the ILO MLC2006 regulations due to be enforced on Yacht in the next future.
